What makes Flying Moon Botanicals so exceptional?

Jasmine, Rose, Neroli, and Frankincense are wonderfully therapeutic for the skin!  They are particularly suited for sensitive and mature, wrinkled, or damaged skin.  Jasmine and Rose are known aphrodisiacs, creating a feeling of euphoria.  Jasmine is particularly intoxicating to the senses, while Rose possesses the powers of seduction.

Neroli (Orange Blossom) reaches deep into the soul.  It was named for the Italian Princess of Nerola, who fell in love with its wonderful, uplifting fragrance and kept herself and belongings surrounded with its joyful, calming essence.  One of the loveliest of the blossom oils, Neroli has an intense, long-lasting scent.

Frankincense, known as the fragrance of the gods, opens the senses to cosmic energies, while purifying and disinfecting the surroundings. Frankincense has an exotic, citrus woody fragrance. In ancient times, the Arabian Queen of Sheba was a main supplier of Frankincense.  The precious oil, used in political and religious ceremonies, and for medicine and beauty, was as prized and valued as jewels!

Frankincense, Neroli, Jasmine, and Rose Oils are soothing sedatives to the psyche and can help alleviate depression, tension, grief, and sadness.  They also have toning, astringent, healing, antiseptic, and cell regenerating qualities.

You will also find my favorite moisturizer, Jojoba Oil, in Flying Moon Botanicals skin care line.  Jojoba (Pronounced Hohóba) is actually a liquid wax, derived from the Jojoba plant of the Southwest. It is the finest and one of the most expensive of all skin care oils.  High quality Jojoba skin care oil has no smell and it will not go rancid like other oils.

All skin types, even oily and blemished, benefit from the addition of Jojoba oil to skin care ingredients.  Although it may seem contradictory, jojoba oil actually reduces and balances the production of sebum at the hair shaft.  Jojoba oil does this by gently draining clogged sebaceous glands of any overproduction of sebum.

I was born and raised in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin,  city of lakes and trees. The highlight of my years in Madison was the ten I spent at American Girl, the well-known manufacturer of exceptional historic doll and book collections. During those years, I learned about direct catalog and product distribution, product research, design, and development, professional photo shoots, order processing, and customer service. When not at American Girl, or caring for my family, I spent time as a corporate chair massage therapist, eliminating aches and tension from employees at other businesses! Twice a month, I co-lead a meditation and energy-aura healing group.

Dan and I moved to El Paso, Texas, in 2005 for the awesome beauty of the mountains and desert, and the perfect climate. Yes, perfect climate, if you love dry heat, strong winds, and the monsoons of summer gully-washing rains! My discoveries were so much fun, so sensory, I had to share this with others, so began offering classes to small groups.
