FMB Elixir - How do I use it?

Flying Moon Elixir is a very versatile product.  Use it as a face wash (mist on and massage onto face and neck), a toner, a cleansing moisturizer, or a rejuvenating facial mist - any time of day!  My favorite way to use elixir is as a mist over foundation or mineral makeup for that youthful dewy effect.  Flying Moon Elixir creates a beautiful finish to start your day!

FMB Elixir- What’s in it? 

Flying Moon Elixirs are extra-moisturizing facial toners made with Flower hydrosols, Jojoba oil, and skin firming DMAE. These elixirs are extremely mild, so are perfect for even the most sensitive skin.

 

• Flower hydrosols (or distillates) are the richly saturated water droplets formed during distillation of flower blossoms.  Although the resulting distillates are a costly commodity, their healing and soothing qualities offset the extra price.  Toners made with flower hydrosols have a rejuvenating, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, cooling, and astringent effect on the skin.
• Jojoba oil (Pronounced Hohóba) is actually a liquid wax, derived from the Jojoba plant of the Southwest. It is the finest and one of the most expensive of all skin care oils. Both oily and blemished skin benefit from the addition of Jojoba oil to your skin care products.  Although it may seem contradictory, jojoba oil actually reduces and balances the production of sebum at the hair shaft.  Jojoba oil does this by gently draining clogged sebaceous glands of any overproduction of sebum.
• DMAE (Dimethylaminoethanol) is a fruit acid. When applied to skin, DMAE stimulates acetylcholine release (a transmission of nerve impulses), triggering a response in the muscles of the face, thus creating a firmer facial tone and less sagging. Studies have shown that topical use of DMAE can reduce fine lines and wrinkles.  For best results, use products containing DMAE on a daily basis.

FMB Minerals –  How do I apply it?

 

1. Sprinkle a small amount of FMB Minerals into its lid.

2. Lightly dab and swirl Kabuki or full cosmetic brush into lid.

3. Gently rap handle end of your brush to evenly distribute powder on brush hairs.

4. Apply FMB Minerals to outer portions of face, working brush in circles toward your cheekbones, nose, and forehead.

5. Apply to neck and open collar area as well. Apply sparingly. For fuller coverage, apply a bit more.

Tips for Applying Minerals:           

• For a flawless, silky glow: buff & buff w/your kabuki while the minerals absorb into skin.
• For a flawless finish, follow with FMB Translucent Finishing Powder.   
• For a dewy appearance, mist face with Elixir after applying Minerals.
